Dance Sweets comprises delicious little morsels, each a tantalising example of the elegance and frisson of French baroque dance. In the 18th Century dancing was one of the most celebrated arts of French society and often these dances would be grouped into “suites” to demonstrate the full gamut of technique, style and grace. In this EP, we celebrate the crème de la crème of this rich tradition with pieces by Lully, Couperin and Rameau to create our very own selection of Dance Sweets!
