Happy to return to the London Handel Festival! We bring a programme of beautiful and rarely heard collections of 18th-century French Baroque chamber music paired with its more well-known counterparts.
Starting with Handel’s rarely performed Overture, discover something new with rare performances of Dandrieu’s suspenseful Italianate trio sonata and Guillemain’s virtuosic quartet.
The performance is preceded by a special talk by Katharine Hogg, the Librarian of the Gerald Coke Handel Collection at 3.30pm. Tickets include access to both the talk, performance and the Foundling Museum.
